Re: DP Electronic Production.
Thanks for listening. Nope, I don't own Absynth. I work on a tight budget, so nearly all of the VI's I use are either free or come with DP. Actually, the only VI I've purchased is iDrum. I'm not sure exactly which track you're referring to, but the first track on the RPM page uses DP's Polysynth for...

Re: The free VI's/plugs list.
Audio Damage just released a free tremelo plugin. http://www.audiodamage.com/downloads/product.php?pid=ADF003 Its based on an old electro-harmonix stomp box discontinued in the 70's, called the Pulse Modulator. Its basically three lfo's modulating amplitude, with controls over speed & depth, a t...

What the hay, I'll put my head on the chopping block. I'm an independent electronic artist recording under the name Persiflage. My work is almost entirely done with DP 6.02 in my humble little project studio. You can find my work online in the following places: http://home.myspace.com/persifl...

Turntablist
Although it is designed to be a turntable emulator, you can use destroyfx's turntablist for triggering samples (it will only load one at a time). Just send MIDI to it, and it will trigger the samples like an old-school casio sk-1 or other digital sampling keyboard. Its free and a lot of fun to play ...

I've found that using the plain old DP 4.6 drum editor with iDrum works just fine for intricate programming. iDrum is great for triggering samples, but is limited to 4/4, with a max resolution of 64th notes. Since DP can be in any time signature you want, I don't bother with iDrum's onboard step seq...
