Re: A strange experience this evening

LOL... funny story. Reminds me of a common hustle out here. To go into this business you need a small plastic gas container. You then work the parking lots at grocery stores claiming that you ran out of gas. I like dogs, but just travel too much to take care of one properly. Got nothing against sma...

Re: A strange experience this evening

The last time that happened to me the guy got carried off by the cops... first the fire department checked him out then the cops took him... They knew who he was, he had a criminal record from hell and the next step was I would have had a burglary on my hands. I just nip it in the bud right from th...

He sure has issues no doubt.

On the 2 chord subject, James brown did magic with 1 chord

Re: A strange experience this evening

One more thing gets me, even though I know it helps people, stores are asking if you want to give to their favorite charity. . This drives me crazy. I hate feeling pressured and on the spot. I feel judged and have to mention that I devote time instead of money.....I am a meals on wheels volunteer.....

Re: A strange experience this evening

Frodo- Living in philly (many years ago), has given me many similar situations like yours. I learned from those experiences not to give money, but to give my humanity instead. I'll gladly buy a few dollars of food, and give a few minutes of genuine conversation before fading away into the wind.........

Re: The Thread

That would be nice of you and at the least it would make Nick feel good. Better yet, Wednesday is a "day" off, for me. I hope to do some badly needed organizing and de-cluttering. When I come across his address, I'll post back, and you guys should pm me with any messages that I can print ...

Re: Weary of my Traveler and MOTU

Ok. Well here's something interesting. I sent the unit to MOTU on Monday and on Thursday I get notification that MOTU is sending me a package. There's a tracking number but it's not been activated yet. Assuming my package got there on Wednesday that was the fastest fix in history. Or, did they pony...

Re: The Thread

It's just that nobody has that Nick knack like Monkey Man... Monkey and I were rather "close" (as much as two people who have never met and live on opposite sides of the planet could be), it broke his spirit to leave this forum. I hope he returns, but as monkey man, I am not so sure...I h...
