Re: Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
The only trouble with that theory is that the ability to reassign MIDI data to effect parameter automation has existed since at least DP8, possibly earlier. Hmmm. It's a head-scratcher. I suppose someone (me?) could contact MOTU support. Worst case, they could remove the effect automation from the ...

Re: Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
If my above comment is correct, could one use a VI to sample the desired audio, then use the PB Data to modulate a plugin effecting the VI?

Re: Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
That's good thinking on that weird dropdown list. For me, the really odd part is that the window implies that you can convert between MIDI data and audio plugin data. The problem is you can't specify tracks and since MIDI tracks don't have audio plugins and Audio Tracks don't have MIDI data, there ...

Re: All of a Sudden I have to Log In Every Day
It's actually "worse" than that. Just had to log in again after, I'm guessing, less than 2 hours AFK. Have you checked "Keep Me Logged In" on the log in screen before you enter your password? Every once in a while, I'll get that screen, and it is easy to just auto log in without...

Re: OT RANT: Boz Digital: WTH?
I added to my cart... $10.00 I owned all three predecessors. Boo. Wow! That's weird. Mine was $0.00. I wonder if the discount is greater the more recently you purchased it? Strange. :( I’m guessing that’s not it. I bought the bundle pre-release. I felt pretty good a few months later when it came ou...

Re: OT RANT: Boz Digital: WTH?
Not that $10 is a lot but, out of necessity, I've pretty well replaced the (unusable) Boz over the three years since I got my Mac Studio, so it gets to be a principle thing.

Here's a question for those working in Atmos...
What happens if one renders a Stereo Mix in Atmos format? Is this possible?

Re: Looks like it’s time to move away from DP - wondering if others are doing the same
But the performance of DP10-11 for me has been terrible, 5+ years, even on an Ultra w 128g RAM. I've got the same Mac, but have definitely not experienced the issues you describe. I guess I'm just lucky. Moving from a cheese grater to the Ultra, for me, was just the best thing ever, and DP under ap...

Re: Looks like it’s time to move away from DP - wondering if others are doing the same
If I start getting Atmos requests, I'll look into the Studio One crossgrade; good info, thanks for sharing BKK-OZ! But I'll still do most of my work in DP, I'm pretty darn sure. I'm not too old to learn, but I don't want to reinvent my wheel. Easy enough to import tracks, even pre-mix stems, into an...

Re: Looks like it’s time to move away from DP - wondering if others are doing the same
Studio One is definitely a few generations ahead of DP 11. I actually played with Studio One a while ago, with another client who wanted to use it. Not the latest version, admittedly, but I wasn't knocked out. Basically, it is the same story as with any DAW, no matter how "advanced": You ...

Anybody seen this..?
What used to be a single screen has split into two that retain their relative placement on my display if I try to move one. Happened once before, then went away, and I dont remember what I did to create or eliminate this. Not that it is a big deal. all is well with DP..Just sorta' weird. Screenshot ...
