well - the output may very well work - but you can route those - I have tried both line level and mic on that input. No LED metering, no sound thru phones or into DAW, so I believe the channel is fried - I would keep it if it was still under warranty (1 year?) but I dont really want to wait for MOTU...

I can understand being pissed off - but not sure what the Mac reference is for exactly - but I can say that they have catered more to the Mac users than the PC's - I use both - but with all the viruses and hackers in PC-land - firewall or not - its a no brainer for me - sounds like if you are dedica...

I have a 896HD with a bad channel :( - #1 - all the rest are fine - I have opened it to check connections after trying different cables, contact cleaner, etc...no good - the channel is dead, Jim.
