Multiple USB Keyboards Trouble
I have a USB 88 key controller, USB foot pedals and a USB drum brain. I set the keys to send MIDI ch1, pedals to ch3, and drums to ch10. They have no internal sounds. They send MIDI only. Because they are USB, they appear in the MIDI tracks Output window without having to even create a bundle first....

Re: "(missing)" outputs - MIDI devices
i've deleted every bundle and yes, uninstalled the drivers. But the names are still in the output list.

"(missing)" outputs - MIDI devices
in DP8 x64 on Win 7 x64, i've gone in and deleted all of the drivers for my old MIDI device controllers which I use with DP. It was 2 keyboards and 1 foot pedal (no built-in sounds). Despite emptying the Bundles and MIDI Device Groups, plus tossing DP's preferences from the hidden "local" ...

Re: 2.43 GB? Where?
Take a look at the disk space footprint indicated in the Programs and Features Control Panel. That's where it shows that it has allocated 2.43 GB for DP8 (including 32 and 64). As far as I can tell, it must be allocation of virtual memory disk space or something, otherwise MOTU is surreptitiously in...

Re: Installation Fails
This turned out to be a disk space issue. I didn't expect it to be 2 1/2 Gig.

2.43 GB? Where?
Where is all of the disk space going? The program directories for both versions are less than 180 MB. What can I delete that I don't need? And will the installer let me uninstall parts or does it pull 32 and 64 bit versions?

Installation Fails
I've been unable to install DP802Full on Windows 7. This is a Mac Pro Quad Core Xeon with 16 GB of RAM (one harddrive for each operating system Mac and Windows). Early in the install I get: Setup Failed ... 0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation and at the end of the log file I see this: [0B18...

Blackmagic-design and DP8?
Is anyone successfully using a blackmagic-design hardware interface with digital performer?
Something like the UltraStudio4k or the Hyperdeck Studio Pro?
thanks in advance.

Re: UAD2 Plug-ins & DP8
By the way, I just noticed this on the UAD2 support site: Are UAD-2 products compatible with Mac OS X 64-bit kernel mode? Yes! 64-bit driver support for all UAD-2 devices was added in UAD Powered Plug-Ins v5.8.0. The problem must be with Mountain Lion's version of 64-bit or something. I didn't see a...

UAD2 Plug-ins & DP8
My UAD plug-ins (current driver 6.3.1) in Mountain Lion with a PCI-x card do not show up in DP8. Anyone else have this issue?

Re: DP8 download this time?
So, it's quite simple. I suggest you can have the printed manual if you want, while not forcing me to accept one if I don't. I also suggest downloadable software and online activation so that distribution happens instantly. Let me be the one to inform you that it's inevitable. For those keeping scor...

Re: DP8 download this time?
I use tin cans with string tied between them. Be sure the string is really tight though! Mr. Wizard always left that part out.

Re: DP8 download this time?
To quote myself from earlier, "Scripture like reference manuals that get used and used and dog-eared are worth every penny". But to summarize for those who too quickly develop an attitude, I don't want a printed manual and I won't use it. I haven't used a DP manual for many, many years. Th...
