I bought a new HD192 and the fan noise was totally acceptable, but right before I sent it in for another repair the fan suddenly got ALOT noisier! so, no its not normal. I asked tech support about it also and they seemed clueless. Maybe some lube on the fan bearings? They said they'd look at it whil...

Cubase 4, PCIe424 and (cough) windowsXP
Is anyone using this combination and NOT getting mis-reported samplerates any time you re-route and audio channel or change anything at all in the control panel?? I breifly had a 2408MK3 a while back with a standard PCI card and it did exactly the same thing with cubase sx. this was on 3 different i...

I haven't had a chance to hear it without yet. The whole rig sounds great though!! I have a 10 hr session today but the first chance I get I will record a vocal and acoustic guitar with and without the big ben and post my finding! I looked at the lucid also, but I had a hard time finding any compari...

New drivers fixed it! Everything sounds great! One question for anyone who knows... how do you terminate the HD192 when clockling from a big ben?? A 75 ohm terminater shows it over terminated and no terminater shows it as not terminated!? I hear nothing out of the ordinary either way, but I hate hav...

HD192e asio drivers... or lack thereof.
I just installed an HD192 PCIe in my studio and i am puzzled about the asio driver thing!? All I see in Cubase 4 is a direct sound asio driver. This is in no way even remotely useful to me. Anyone else have this problem or do I just need to update the drivers? I tried a 2408 mk3 a couple years ago a...

I just got an HD192. installing it today!! What I have read is that you only need to clock one device. everything else can derive its clock though the MOTU system that is sourced from that master device. I assume you are selecting the clock source for the whole system in the 424 system control panel...
