I do a lot of Live show recording. Some of them are for HD product like HD televison broadcasting or Blu-Ray disc producti...

Surround monitoring

So now is the time. I really need to upgrade to a surround setup. I already have a pair of dynaudio BM5A and a cheap Polk Audio subwoofer. So here's my questionning: - Do I upgrade my existing setup by buying 3 more BM5A and the matching sub BM9S? - Do I really need a surround controller like the Da...

Does that means that someday, maybe soon, we will be able to record 64 track out of a single wire on a single hard drive (i.e. 15K SAS drive) ??

Maybe we're still far from that but if all these specs were available on a Macbook Pro, I would be happy! 8)

just dreaming...

You can change *some* of the skins basically, but a lot of the stuff people really want to change is not there. I bet the meters are there though! :) All meter, button and background are there. That's what I meant by "New Skin". Not a complete makeover but just some element. I changed the...

High track count recording vs. Hard Drive

What would be your hard drive setup to record 48 track (live show) during 3 straight hour of recording? Could one 7200 RPM drive could do it till the end or do I really need SAS drive?

Any thought or experience ?

I downloaded Camino and so far I'm really happy. It's faster than Safari and every site I visited loaded just fine. No need to go to Firefox...

Seems like I'm switching to Camino... Safari and Firefox are still on my application folder though.
