I really like this song, you must of been going for the blues a'la Bonnie Raitt feel with the slide. If you were it came through. The guitar is very well done, good taste. I really liked the head to this song, reminded me of Herbie Hancock/Headhunters maybe, the 70's jazz/funk afro/cuban mellow groove. Weirdest thing, after two days of HD whining when I tryed to reboot (and no HD recognition from OSX disc, I now am writing this email from PB. Don't know how long it will last. Unfortunately I have no extended apple care.

My PB HD

Hi, thanks for the replies. Okay so it did show up as SMART failure a week ago. I decided to reformat anyway yesterday (right or wrong?) I did a zero level reformat, it took many hours... I then had HD problems after reinstall of OSX (wouldn't see Sampletank install cd, would fereeze-beachball style...

I am running DP on my Powerbook 12" 1.33ghz 512meg of ram. My machine is 18 months old and I am beginning to have HD trouble. Whinning and beach ball hell. It is an 80gig 540rpm apple order drive. Before I replace it I have a few questions for those of you wisemen in the know.... Can I use 1 us...

Effects Monitoring & Recording

Hi, 8) Is there any way to record effects when not in direct monitoring mode...I can not get it to work...example...I want to use the built in compressor to compress my vocal or Bass track when recording.... No problems monitoring fx, of course the results aren't recording... thanks Jim G4 1.33ghz P...

That's kinda what I want to do...I have an old copy of RETRO that will only run on my os9 mac and I want to be able to use it locked into my sequencer...your reply makes sense to me, just wanted a second opinion

can I use MIDI of 828mk2 to slave another dp on another computer to my main machine? Do i need anything special?

can it be done with 3 computers?? Does it require a muli MIDI hub?
