32pci or Setup_1.6.6.11

I have a two year old PC running XP pro. It is not 32 bit. I currently run driver version which is downloaoded with Setup_1.6.6.11 with my 2408. Is there an advantage to upgrading to the 32pci version, which is for Vista 32 bit but "will also work with Windows XP"?

I got a reply from MOTU support. They say all 2408 interfaces are self terminating.

2408 and word clock termination

I have read that the 2408 MarkII word clock input is not self terminating. Is this correct? If the 2408 is part of a star distribution (fed via an AardsynchII), do I need to terminate the 2408••™s word input (such as with a BNC T-connector with a termination block on one side of the T)?
