Anybody using the FLUX plug-ins in DP6.02? If so - are they working smoothly including automation etc?

Re: Virus TI crashes DP MOTU Audio system
I use a TI Polar and it has had the exact same latency issue since day one - rendering it useless in "TI" mode in DP...I'm using good old MIDI cables and the analog outs. Maybe someday?

Re: Water-powered compressor
I want to have a compressor that runs off of water volume! Hear me out. You have something like a test-tube, and put a hole in the bottom. Then you have an valve at the top that pumps water into the tube at a rate depending upon the corresponding amplitude of an audio signal. Then a sensor reads th...

Nice to see that they posted some of the bits from my Audio Media Magazine review on the site - more people need to know that DP6 is a solid solution...

Re: Apogee Symphony and DP 6 - Again
Sorry to hear that! I'm running an Apogee Symphony PCIe (with an AD16x and a DA16X) on a Mac Pro 8-Core and it works amazingly well. I keep my buffer setting at 128 and I have near-zero latency when monitoring and running VI's / auxes in DP6.01. I run Maestro for critical monitoring of soloists (esp...

Yeah - if you contact MOTU they will get you straightened out and get you on the right track as far as what WAVES version you can use on a PPC in DP6.01

Re: Virus TI and DP6 timing issues
I too had my hopes crushed when my TI Polar still had terrible latency on my very fast system...I would pay some serious $ to either side to get it working...

Re: Sudden volume changes in DP6.01
MOTU is very serious about this issue and they are on it - Jim Cooper himself is passionate about solving this particular issue (and some other important ones). We are lucky to have a caring manufacturer...hang in there.

Re: Sudden volume changes in DP6.01
I am a full-time composer and I sit in front of DP more hours a day than is healthy...I get the SAME s h i t and it seems to have no pattern or logic as too when it happens more. Restarting seems to help but after a while it starts happening again. I also get the static and clicks sometimes and I ha...

Re: Apogee Symphony and DP 6?
I'm running the Symphony card with the AD16X & the DA16X (32 channels both ways) and my buffer setting in DP 6 is always at 128 with no issues. On my machine 128 is very snappy on the latency front even for live guitar parts etc. I don't run HD sample rates though - just 48 and 44 (mostly 48 for...

Re: Behold Omnisphere!
If you own all three, Atmosphere, Trilogy, and Stylus RMX, your upgrade price is only $150!!! Normally it is $250. This company is da bomb! I own all three and I scored the Omni "VIP upgrade" for the $149.00 - Spectrasonics is by far the best example of how to embrace your users (not to m...

Yeah - same •••• happening here...I LOVE SoundToys effects so we need to get a handle on this...after all this time, all of the upgrades and advances in tech? I always thought that Audio Unit compliance was black and white but apparently there are many subtleties in how things are addressed? No Echo...

Re: Virus TI 2.7.3 released! Has anyone tried it with DP6?
That sucks! My install of the new version of TI and the update of my Polar went very smooth...but it isn't "Snappy" enough to use as a plug-in in DP6.01. I'm sure your issue has something to do with whatever version of software is on your TI Desktop now. Please post whatever they tell you ...

True true...sounds like it's time to call the Access support dudes again and see what the deal is...
