Re: Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
That's good thinking on that weird dropdown list. For me, the really odd part is that the window implies that you can convert between MIDI data and audio plugin data. The problem is you can't specify tracks and since MIDI tracks don't have audio plugins and Audio Tracks don't have MIDI data, there d...

Re: Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
Thanks for giving it a try! Yeah, the whole window is undocumented in the manual and that list of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc., is really weird. Since a frequency control is usually bipolar, using converted pitch bend data would be ideal, but alas…

Re: Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
Unfortunately, the DP User Manual offers absolutely no assistance in how to use this tool.

Convert Pitch Bend data to Filter Frequency control
Is it possible to convert the Pitch Bend data from a MIDI track to Frequency control data for the MW EQ on an audio track. I tried to do that with the Reassign Continuous Data... tool, but it won't let me paste the result into an audio track. Is there a step I'm missing? Screenshot 2025-04-27 at 22....

Re: Stretch MIDI?
I’m trying to understand why the complexity of going through all those steps of the workaround is better than simply grabbing the notes (actually the notes’ velocities as we’ve learned in this thread) and dragging them to the correct location. It’s incredibly easy.

Re: Stretch MIDI?
My confusion is, or was, why the OP thought trial and error was required to do a specific stretch using the command. It did not seem to me that dragging velocities was simpler, or led to more predictable results. Here's an example of why the command didn't work for me: I input a harp glissando on m...

Re: Stretch MIDI?
I thought the objective in the OP was to set the last note of the selection to end where the wiper is. The scale time dialog box deals with setting the start time of the last note. No, I wanted to move the start of the last note to a specific location while leaving the start of the first note at it...

Re: Stretch MIDI?
Wow! Silly me, I was trying to drag the notes, not their velocities. Thank you for that, labman! Note that if you select the notes, the usual Region > Scale Time … command will let you choose a percent change, a new start time, a new end time, or a new length. So is trial and error really required? ...

Stretch MIDI?
Is there a way to select a group of MIDI notes on a track and stretch them similarly to what you can do with a soundbite on an audio track? I know I can do it with the Scale Time tool, but it takes a bunch of trial and error to get the right result. I’d like to be able to select the notes, have the ...

Re: Guitar Headphone Amp with Passthrough
Yeah, I’m already doing it that way. I was hoping there might be something small like those little guitar headphone practice devices that would also do a passthrough. Thanks.

Guitar Headphone Amp with Passthrough
I'm playing in a duo with an electric guitarist and I sometimes wish I had an in-ear monitor for the guitar due to the noise and/or boominess in the room in which we are playing. Is there any sort of device that does Guitar passthrough that also has a headphone output? I don't need effects since it ...

Icon P1-M and DP 11
Now that DP 11 has a control surface option for Icon Control, I'm wondering if any of you have experience using the Icon P1-M with DP 11. I've seen several videos with the larger Icon controllers and they seem to integrate quite nicely, but I can't find anything about the P1-M. I've been looking at ...

Re: SpectraLayers 10 is a life saver, for legacy projects
How does the track separation in SpectraLayers compare to something like the pro version of Moises (https://moises.ai/products/moises-web-app/)? I qualify for the $199 crossgrade to SpectraLayers versus the $90/year for Moises pro, so it wouldn’t take long for Moises to cost more than SpectraLayers.

Re: DP 10 & 11 compatibility with Universal Audio APOLLO X4 interface....
I'm on a M1 Mac Studio, currently running OS 14.3.1 with an Apollo x6 interface and have had no problems whatsoever. I've had this same configuration for nearly 2 years, including OS 12 and 13, so I'd say you're pretty safe. UA has been really good about communicating any issues related to their har...

Re: import multiple audio file issues (DP 11.03)
Shouldn't I be able to import multiple WAV files into a session and have it create tracks that are properly named and have the the soundbite loaded on the respective tracks? This should work, right? The manual seems to imply this. I just encountered a problem with trying to drag multiple WAV files ...
