Ok I got an answer from MOTU tech support :) The unit has been tested with low voltage S/PDIF signals so it should be able to lock even to a weak signal but if the S/PDIF receiver on the unit isn't properly calibrated it's possible that something like this might occur. I'm sending my unit to the loc...

Traveler S/PDIF clock source prob
Hi everybody, I'm a newbie here at unicornation as this is my first post. I connected my guitar fx processor (Digitech RP2000) via S/PDIF to traveler but the sample rate led flashes in the 44 and occasionally jumps to 48 for like a second, but doesn't flash at that time, and I get no sound.
