At times I use the time strech/compress functions for sound design. If you can do almost unlimited modifications without artifacts then that gives you quite a tool, though the artifacts can act as an effect too.

For sure that vid is not real, I can hear the actual performance behind the processed voice even with my laptop's speakers. It's funny though

All those rumours are saying a LOT, all that stuff really happening seems almost too cool. Logic 8 is IMO great in it's current state, so improving it substancially in this relatively short time feels unprobable. But..who would mind..
