Re: Stutter edit in DP 4.61, copy slices of audio?
Yes, that is probably the easiest and not the worst sounding option. There are also other "beat slicing" plugins, that cut the audio into pieces and add effects on top of that, but the Stutter Edit should be more versatile as a single plugin that combines a set of plugins that might normal...

Re: Stereo VI sounds like crap in mono, what to do
I've left out Ozone out of the mix for now, I noticed that some of the phase problems were caused by the stereo imaging module. Now I check each instrument in mono, soloed, and then in stems, and then the whole mix, and after I get everything sounding great at that point I'll see what can be added w...

Re: Stereo VI sounds like crap in mono, what to do
Just to be clear, is this problem occurring when mono-summing the stereo VI instance via a bus; using the mono instance of the VI; or when bouncing the stereo track to a mono track? Sounds like you got your problem answered, but I'm still not clear on which approach you were taking to get the mono ...

Stereo VI sounds like crap in mono, what to do
I got a patch that sounds great in stereo, but cancels out almost completely in mono. Should I print the track to audio, and then take a mono channel, and duplicate it to two mono tracks, and apply processing like delay and pitch, or use just one mono track with some mono to stereo plugin?

Re: A little advice pls, will this iMac have enuf juice for
Yes, I would agree with Shooshie. I went up gradually with the Core2 Duos from 2,16 to 2,4 and the difference wasn't impressive. The i5 system feels like a totally different experience, like a super computer almost. It's been able to take anything I've thrown at it.

Re: A little advice pls, will this iMac have enuf juice for
I had a C2D 2,4 machine, and now I have an i5 2,66. The performance boost is enough to run all my stuff without hickups, whereas the previous system struggled with projects to the amount of being unworkable.

At the time, must've been about 4 years ago, BLA did the clock mod, and the analog circuit mod. I took them both.

I power my whole rig, including the BLA modded traveler, from a Furman power conditioner, and have been happy with it.

Re: Trusting Monitors-Genelecs vs. NS-10s
To check, test a few things: play a mix in mono panned center, and at fairly low volume. Sit in your mixing position and close your eyes. The music should be dead center and sound absolutely tiny, as if it came from the head of a needle right in front of you. I wouldn't be surprised if yours retain...

Re: A question for the Pro's about the modern POP sound
Hi mates, i was reading about many producers who are working their current productions regarding drum programing etc etc for modern pop artists such as LadyGaga that IMO sounds amazing, with DAW's like Logic, so, us being DP guys, which VI's and sounds would u use to get this pop modern and aggress...
