Hi
I am looking for an '80's metal - power ballad vocalist for an upcoming session. This gig is for an animated series I compose for (called The X's on Nickelodeon). The producers want to hire "the real deal": someone that is from the '80's that can belt it out. I was thinking Kip Winger or maybe Jani Lane, just as a starting point.
It would be ideal if whoever this is can simply record themselves at their own place, on their own gear and deliver back the file format I need (probably SDII, 48k, etc). I send the vocalist a two track Wav, some perfomance suggestions, they over dub, send me back their part, seperated and unprocessed. Nice and easy.
Anyway, if anyone out there has a great suggestion, feel free to email me directly at info@shawnpatterson.com
