Been seeing some more ads recently for Alienware desktops/laptops...does anyone here make use of these for audio production? Anyone heard anything good/bad as far as reliability and performance goes?

A friend of mine uses one of their workstations for audio recording and editing. He loves it. It's kind of loud though, so he's having some sort of custom-made encasing to sound isolate it.
