DP keeps losing my MIDI configuration

DP keeps losing my MIDI configuration . All of my MIDI assignments are in italics and when I go to the MIDI setup window my MIDI timepiece AV is kind of washed out looking. All my devices are there and connected but no MIDI output. The only way to get it working again is to create a new configuration and reassign everything .
