Since updating to Sonoma (generally) the two issues I've seen are:
1. Mail constantly failing to successfully log into internet accts (centurylink & hotmail)
2. Weird glitchy behavior when typing into text fields (like this one) on websites. Text display gets scrambled.

Otherwise, the rest of the issues from previous OS's persist.

Sad to say 14.4.1 does not fix the issue I'm having with DP and Console 1 where the OSD RTA and meters become sluggish as well as the response to input from the hardware controller. The workaround for this is to close all windows except Track Overview in DP. This is with the Console 1 Mk 2. I do not know of Mk 3 has the same problems.

Because I'm on M1 I didn't have the PACE issues. So 14.4.1 is a "nothing burger" so far for me.

I wonder what 14.4.1 is supposed to fix?

The Kontakt 7.8.1 issue is unchanged.

The only time I had the PACE issue was with Performer Lite and it may have been the way I called it up accidentally. I opened it directly before updating to Sonoma 14.4.1 without incident.

There's something going on but heck if I know what. I would keep the Activity Monitor open and see if anything turns red when either of those happen.

From Apple
macOS Sonoma 14.4.1
This update provides bug fixes for your Mac, including:
USB hubs connected to external displays may not be recognized
Copy protected Audio Unit plug-ins designed for professional music apps may not open or pass validation
Apps that include Java may quit unexpectedly
My main gripe is the USB hubs one, so that's good news. I don't get crashes from Kontakt unless I move it to my second monitor. My pet crashing plugin is Akai's MPC 2 software, it's software iLok protected so there's hope I guess that it gets fixed in 14.4.1
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

This?
We’ll (finally) introduce fully Sonoma-compatible versions of Kontakt and Maschine – two of our most complex products – later this month.
Well, later this month expires in 5 days. We'll see...

Right away it looks like any USB issues were solved by 14.4.1, we'll see.
Sounds like maybe Kontakts issues will be solved in NI time, whether that's in a week or in a month.
Good to get this stuff behind us, oh NI and Apple, why you gotta play us like this? :banghead:

I'm gonna be the Johnny One-Note and say that the DP, Console 1, Sonoma bug still not fixed. I hope MOTU, Softube or Apple (I don't much care) comes up with something soon.
