If I read correctly in the user guide, the undo history keeps track
of all actions and thus could serve as a
work time log,
not ?
edit:
Can the undo history 'searched'
?
is it a seperate file ?

Re: Undo history as work log ?
Interesting idea. I wonder how actual undo steps affect the "map". It would be cool if the undo history map was 3D. Choices made could be plotted in 2D (X/Y) and time could be the Z coordinate.

If 'after current point' is used to flush ( and forget to get paid for mistakes )
it works quite good...
Where I flushed all entries,
all is lost
Best

You might check out the “ProjectTime” plugin from HOFA. There’s a freeware as well as a paid version; essentially, you just plop it into a plugin slot, and it keeps a running tally that starts and stops automatically when you open/close your project. I tried the free one several years ago… it didn’t quite suit my needs, but you may feel differently. …or you could just jot your work times down in the Project Notes in your DP project.

Re: Undo history as work log ?
It's found in the Edit menu
It timestamps everything and simple math will tell you how long you worked on a project.
The Pruning Preferences lets you do some limited filtering.
You can find these files in the Library but you cannot export them. Double-clicking on the files opens Performer Lite on my Mac and many of those actions do not exist to be undone on my Mac.
I would never show the Undo History to client. Life is too short to explain it.
