Nothing going into Master Fader. - RESOLVED
Don't know how this happened, but I created a Master Fader and nothing is being routed to it.
Looks just like all the other master faders in other tracks.
Any ideas?

Re: Nothing going into Master Fader.
You are most likely selecting the wrong output bundle. Sometimes, I see the correct output but have to create a new one anyway.

Re: Nothing going into Master Fader.
I just had a realization...
I'm still not used to the fact that one can show or hide tracks in the Tracks window.
So, as I suspected, I had 3 Master tracks.
Got rid of 2 and now all is fine with the world.

Re: Nothing going into Master Fader.
Glad it's good. Point of trivia that may or may not be helpful: if you have more than one Master Fader track, the one that appears leftmost in the Mixer takes priority. This can be helpful in situations where you my have high latency plugins on the Master Fader, but want lower latency for tracking. Create another Master Fader with no plugs (or maybe just a Trim plug to compensate for any volume loss) and then move it to the leftmost position when you want to track.

Didn't know that. Thanks.

Such a great tip James... I saw your post on this in an earlier thread. A real eye-opener.... I now use this all the time when mixing... so easy to jump between a faux master and an empty 2 bus .... No need to save and clear the InsertsJames Steele wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 3:41 pm Point of trivia that may or may not be helpful: if you have more than one Master Fader track, the one that appears leftmost in the Mixer takes priority. No worries. I’m sure that this behavior is just a happy accident… just like how I discovered it. I can’t imagine MOTU envisioned users doing this, but it works for now.Maxxy wrote:Such a great tip James... I saw your post on this in an earlier thread. A real eye-opener....
