Using a M4 as a home audio system DAC vs an iFi Zen Dac 2 or Schitt Modi

I like to hear some thoughts on using an M4 as a DAC for an home audio system versus using an iFi Zen Dac 2, Schitt Modi or other "home system audiofile" marketed DACs. Better, worse or about the same quality?
