M6 channels on mac os?

Post by wws »

Hi there,

On the M6, what channels are available on the M6 (with optional drivers), and which jack do they correspond to?

I am curious because I think I might want to buy one, partly to rig up a hardware loopback mix because a software I like (Overtone Analyzer) can only connect to channels 1 & 2 but I want it to connect to loopback which is 5 and 6.

(I don't know how to get screenshots on this forum, or I would share them of my channels as an example...)

Thanks!

1/3/5 are hard L out from the M6 into a Stereo DAW track over USB. 2/4/6 are hard R. Into Mono tracks, each shows up as mono.

Coming back, it depends on how you assign the returns in your DAW. You have your tracks 1–6 plus Loopback but they can be routed back how you want.

Loopback is in from your DAW only.

Then there are all of your monitoring options. The searchable manual is your friend.
