I have no less than TEN Waveshell plugins in my Components folder. Really, Waves? How many do we need? Why?!

I think there is a different one for each plugin format and each Waves version. So 10 is not unexpected if you don't have the bleeding edge version of every plugin. Maybe you don't need them all?James Steele wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2023 12:21 pm I have no less than TEN Waveshell plugins in my Components folder. Really, Waves? How many do we need? Why?!
I know they are all updated to the latest versions. That’s why I don’t understand why I have that many waveshells.bayswater wrote:I think there is a different one for each plugin format and each Waves version. Are they just different versions of the same thing? I have three because I have three different versions of Waves plugins, two V9s and a V10, and I don't use anything other than AU plugins.James Steele wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2023 4:47 pmI know they are all updated to the latest versions. True. I’m just hesitant to do that because I actually bought the Horizon bundle a while back and have some others and so I would have to open and test every plug-in with each wave shell that I remove. Seems tedious.bayswater wrote:Good question. Looks like poor design, or laziness. You could try moving the oldest out of the folder and see if everything still works.
