Fader access in the Sequence Editor or Tracks Window?

Post by bjramone27 »

Hey all,

I'm wondering if there's easy access to a tracks fader without going to the Mixing Board. I've got a ton of tracks and it would be great if I could adjust the volume right there instead of hunting for the track in mixing board. If there isn't a way, does anyone have a tips or tricks to adjust volume of a track quickly?

Thanks

There's a volume slider in the upper left hand of the sequence editor window. Select the track and the slider will control it. Does that do what you need?

I never noticed that little fader at the top. That is definitely handy thank you!

Exactly. Put that in the left column, and as you choose tracks in either window, it updates. You always have the fader and other controls that appear in the mixer.

You can float the channel strip if side bars are already populated.

I use this all the time when I'm editing in the SE. No need to keep switching windows. I rarely use the channel strip.
