DP Keeps Reverting to Points Display when editing CCs

Thinking I must be hitting s shortcut key, I went to the COmmands window and removed the shortcut keys for the display as points command.

I keep switching to "bars". Not a big deal, until you do it every day, for years, on every track. In every project...

I periodically get weird things with CCs in DP. For instance failure to record certain controllers, or it will record them but not playback from the track etc. corrected by trashing preferences. I later realize that it’s possible I had some custom consoles in my template that I haven’t looked at or used in years that on second thought may have been causing problems.
