If I recall correctly that's up another $15 from last year. Well, the show is back to it's usual time of year, January, and it's four days, Thursday through Sunday again. I think this one is going to give us a good indication if it stands a chance of regaining its former pre-pandemic glory. Probably one good way of gauging that is to check their website for the exhibitors list and see if there are more this year. I think some of the heavies skipped it last time.

Yikes!

I haven't renewed my membership in a few years so will have to look into that. Membership for me used to be $200 and include 4 badges.

Something to put on this week's list.

Well, I checked and renewing my Retail Membership now costs $300 but does include 6 Buyers' passes plus 4 NVP badges—additional passes are $75 ea. (not available to Individual members).

I have an invitation from NAMM to go for free (I've done them favors over the years) but many of those people I want to speak with aren't interested in me unless I have a Buyer's badge.

I think I might go but the logistics are insane including electric scooter rental (did it twice in my wheelchair—never, ever, ever again!). It works best if I'm staying in the same hotel but I've never found space.

Some of the favors… I didn't know that I was considered an important collector till NAMM asked me to loan some of my banjos for an exhibit.
