unselected MIDI track is playing in DP 11.22

Good morning
I have a MIDI track which is not selected that is playing with a selected track and I cannot seem to turn it off.
I am working with both quickscribe and sequence views. I have rebooted etc. First time problem with DP 11.22


Any ideas?

I mute all unselected tracks or solo all selected tracks, whichever is fewer. No need to do both. Been doing this since P 8.

Good morning again.
I found the reason the track was playing:
The track was playback enabled in the sequence view but was not displayed, thus "hidden" from view.
After identifying which track was playing, I disabled playback in sequence screen and that solved it.

Go figure. I playback can be enabled in one screen and must be disabled in that screen (view) to completlly disable playback.
