Monitoring with audio while in edit window
What am I missing? I have the Edit window open for a track. I can't hear the track play or notes play as I select them. What am I not doing correctly? It works if I have the Tracks window open too but I have to have the tracks window selected to hear it. Then I have to select the edit window to make changes. What do I have to do to have just the edit window open and be able to hear the part play?

Re: Monitoring with audio while in edit window
That is something that is really annoying to me with DP.
If you have audible-mode checked, DP (at least for me, maybe I'm doing something wrong?) needs to reload all plug-ins and VI's, etc. when you close that edit window?
Not a huge deal, but it takes about a minute, which is annoying to me when working?

I always monitor the Master bus but there's one studio whose projects are always set to Monitor 1/2. No big deal but, after switching to Master, Save, close… on reopen, they switch back to Monitor. No idea why but I've learned to roll with it.

Re: Monitoring with audio while in edit window
Not part of this thread, but I really wish Motu would allow the default output track (when you add audio tracks) in DP to be a bus rather than a physical output.mikehalloran wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2023 10:24 am I always monitor the Master bus but there's one studio whose projects are always set to Monitor 1/2. Right now it defaults to the top physical output track in Bundles/Outputs.
I've printed mixes numerous times that are missing tracks because they are not hitting the 2-bus, but I still hear them coming out of the speakers.
I have a post-it on my monitor to remind me to check, but it's an annoyance.
