Changing Fade Type on Existing Fade?

Post by James Steele »

Maybe I’ve forgotten how this works. Am a bit rusty, but… notice in the attached video I have a pre-existing equal gain fade at the end of the soundbite. I select the fade and click to bring up the dialog and change the fade to equal power. I thought that this used to immediately change the pre-existing fade to the different type, but it I have to “drag” the fade away, then “drag” it back to get it to change.

Again… maybe this is how it’s always been and I’m remembering it incorrectly?

It shouldn't be like that. It should change when you click OK. Here it's working fine. (11.21 / 12.6.3)

Hmmmm... Maybe it's a Ventura issue. I'll report it to MOTU.

Yep. Not here. I think it's a bug that might have crept in with Ventura? That's the only thing that changed on my system. If anyone reading this is using DP 11.21 on Ventura, please try this. :)
