Actually, it almost seems like more than daily.
It goes like this, there's an initial sale announcement followed by 475 reminder emails saying "only x days left", "don't miss" "last chance" "sale extended" "only 340 reminders left!" Add to this the fact that we are often on a dozen or so email lists ('cuz we couldn't resist that subscribe & save button).
A certain boutique for plugins seems to be one of the worst offenders.
File this as an official gripe.

Yeah. Plug-in Alliance is big on these types of emails. Every morning when I wake up, I have to delete a dozen emails from plug-in and hardware companies/dealers.

I contacted PB with a request that they either throttle back to once per day (or less) or offer a "weekly digest" option. They finally responded with a polite "sorry, no." (I'm paraphrasing).
