I know I should just upgrade to a newer computer but this is for a diagnostics/tech area where I don't need a big bad computer. I've got this 1ghz Titanium PowerBook and a Traveler going FireWire and no matter what there's weird garbled sound. Cuemix also seems possessed since faders keep moving before my very eyes when I open it.
I've got the latest version of OSX that the laptop can handle and the latest driver from Motu. Has anyone else experienced this? It should work fine. And it does, but only on other computers.
