Hello, has anyone tried to use the ultralite mk5 as a dac via adat? Does anyone know if the headphone jack shows up in as an output? Like 7-8 etc? Want to get one but I would primarily use it this way if I did.

Here is the User Guide.

It can do what you want but not the way you think you want it. ADAT is one of multiple input sources.
Headphone output

The UltraLite-mk5 front panel provides an independent headphone jack with separate volume control. You can program the phones to mirror the main outs or act as its own independent output.

Interesting, I looked in the manual but must have been looking in the wrong section. Thanks for the reply I guess that’s probably as informative an answer as I could expect to get without actually having one and trying it.

I'm answering very late to your question, and I'm not sure if I understood your question, but the headphones output is a separate output indeed : you can use it as a replica of the master, or you can route to it the USB channels 11-12 from your DAW...

If I'm not wrong, SPDIF is 13-14
ADAT is 15-16-17-18-19-20-21-22

It's actually very useful if you need to use more than 10 outputs and don't care about the quality of the 11-12 outputs
(in my case, I use it on stage and the headphones output is used as a click track, so the whole 10 tracks are used for music).
