Hi all...
Lately my Mac clock will not show the current time. I go into System Prefs and change it, but when I go to turn on my Mac a few days later it shows the old date! The date still runs, but it is 2 days old. Any ideas?

Mac battery dead? Probably not.
Time zone incorrect? Hours, not days off would likely result.

Is it possible you have a firewall blocking a network time server?

figured it out....operator error. in system prefs/time, I had 'set date and time automatically' unchecked.
