I've been succesfully running an old 896 mk3 through Startech FW/TB adapter on Windows 10 with FW legacy drivers, playback flow perfectly without any glitch which is fine... excepting some weird issues including firmware update :
After holding page and powering on, the firmware version (1.01 actually) displays only 1 or 2 sec, then the interface boot up normally without sticking to firmware version displays, which seems to avoid any firmware updating routines right ?
By the way, I didn't manage to find the exact right firmware updater for my FW 896mk3. The only I could ever download is the one for 896mk3 hybrid. Anybody could ever get an hand on the FW 896mk3 and send it to me ?
