Mac Studio: Is better GPU worth it for DAW use?

I had my Apple Card out the day they announced the Studios, but then I looked under my desk and remembered "Oh yeah just spent $400 on that thing" so I have to make myself wait until I get my money's worth out of the this eGPU first haha.

The first review/return units of the M1 Pro and Max versions of the MBP hit the Apple Refurb Store last week—some are still there.

Who knows? A few Studios and Studio Displays might be turning up in a month or two.

Since I won't have time to migrate my apps etc. till July when one of my clients furloughs me for a couple months, it's unlikely that I'll purchase before June. I'll be curious if anything gets announced at the WWDC but only an iMac version of the Studio/Studio Display would be of interest. Let's just say I'm not holding my breath for that.
