Motu Ultralite Mk3 Hybrid basic recording setup

Hi,

I own a Motu Ultralite Mk3 Hybrid for at least 10+ years, but never really got my head around the ins and outs at the back and have found Cuemix an absolute head melt. Now that i have more time on my hands, i would like to get my head around a basic recording setup. I am currently able to plug a vocal mic or guitar or bass into the front MIC/INSTR. IN 1 and that works, but i need to keep plugging and unplugging to switch between each one. I have tried to use the inputs at the back, but have never been able to get any sound/signal, so gave up!

I would like to setup 3, maybe 4 inputs:
1. Vocal Mic
2. Guitar
3. Bass
4. Turntable for playback and recording.
5. Extra in for maybe Tape, CD, Minidisk playback

My setup

Windows 10
Ableton 10
Ableton Push 1
Arturia Keylab 61 essential
Motu Ultralite mk3 hybrid
Yamaha HS7 powered monitors

Questions
1. Can anyone help me achieve the setup i've outlined above using the ins at the back without having to keep plug and unplug?
2. Does anyone have any preset configuration files for Cuemix that will give me this setup or similar?
3. Anyone have any other useful Cuemix preset templates for various recording setups?
