It's just the default "skin" / layout, Fwoggy.

I take heart from your being an easy room 'though. If I'd known I would've sent you my '90s demos 15 years ago.

Whatever the look, I enjoy the fact that Safari no longer identifies MOTUNation as "Not Secure"

That was a little extra bonus that the person I hired threw in for me. I got complaints about that. Rather than refer them to Doris for a refund, I was able to address that one. :D

True. Yet, just the same, it IS clean looking and it may be with us for a while until I can find the free time to do something more.

I know, brother.

Honestly, I don't think anyone would care if you never changed the look. It would've been made the default skin / theme for good reason.

As for shifting the avatar pane to the other side, I'm sure we all can wait, but if it never happens, it's not like it's gonna prevent anyone from posting or scare died-in-the-wool Unicorns off.

I like the avatars on the right side.
Helps me focus on the message, rather than the messenger.

I don't really care about the look.
Maybe a little customization would be cool.
Good news that the transfer worked and all is functional.

Thanks, James, for keeping this place alive!
All is well

You're welcome!

As for the location of the avatars, I don't mind it either. Helps to focus on the content as you said. It may be possible though at some point for me to install a similar theme that is modified to have the avatar on the left and then give users the option of choosing that theme. I'm concerned about improving aesthetics while at the same time keeping things clean looking and uncluttered. But as you acknowledged, the big task was simply surviving the server-wide php upgrade and phasing out of the older version. Twice in the past I was given reprieves from the hosting company who went into some settings that allowed the old board software to use the older version of php. This time, in the email notice I received, it was very clear that they could not make allowances for older software anymore.

So as far as I'm concerned, it was a resounding success.
