Neumann mic repair recommendations?

I have an old BCN 104. Although sold as a broadcast mic, I find it quite versatile and is my go-to on a few instruments. After all these years, it's getting too noisy to the point of not being usable if the high pass roll-off filter is not engaged.

Sennheiser USA will repair whatever's wrong for a flat fee of $500 when they open back up, No guarantees I won't get a refurb which doesn't bother me at all.

Still, five bills when the only issue is a noisy component or two... yikes! A new one costs $1,100 nowadays.

So, anyone have a a recommendation for someone they use?
