A couple positive things. MOTU webinar
So MOTU seem to be giving away free DP10 training with a webinar and Q&A afterwards. I just got an email about sighing up for it. Ableton, Apple, and Bitwig, Avid etc. among others charge for this. Hopefully all of you get the email!
Looking at Linkedin, MOTU's UK developer lists instrument development and implementing MIDI 2.0 and MPE into DP as job descriptions. So we're likely to see new interments in DP and MPE support in the future.

Re: A couple positive things. MOTU webinar
I attended this morning's webinar, and it was very valuable. I learned a bunch of neat shortcuts based on DP's Temporary Group commands. I'll probably do them all.

I haven't heard a peep out of MOTU about this. I assume they are limiting enrollment. Does anyone know of any links clarifying this?

Yeah it was pretty cool. I like how much he allowed questions to be asked. I've used W for temporary tracks groups forever, but now I'm gonna spend some time with T.Gravity Jim wrote:I attended this morning's webinar, and it was very valuable. Yeah I'm sort of sorry I posted this, because I don't want anyone to think they're less loved by MOTU etc.. I've owned a copy of DP since 2.11 and before that we used MIDI only Performer in a band from almost v1, 1985. I kind of assume that's part of it, they went on seniority etc. Also just random for fairness sake.cuttime wrote:I haven't heard a peep out of MOTU about this. I assume they are limiting enrollment. I just got an invite. I'm exited! I'll definitely be checking it out tomorrow....Normally I'd say 9:30AM PST is rather early, but time doesn't really have meaning these days.

I'm sort of the opposite! My clients are largely in China...who seem to be getting back to a normal schedule now.mikehalloran wrote:Ha! I didn't get the invite until after today's happened. Will they be archived anywhere, does anyone know? Today, Thursday's topics were of interest to me. I'd love to check it out.

Re: A couple positive things. MOTU webinar
Someone asked about that, Matt said they should be hopefully loaded up somewhere. I'm definitely going to ask about Clips and whether they plan on making more videos on it. I see a lot of people confused about that new feature, and I can help of course, being that I've used Live which first made it a popular feature, for years, but it would be nice to have a longer video to point to people about it. So I'll ask about archiving and if they plan on loading it up on the web again.dix wrote: I didn't get the invite until after today's happened. Will they be archived anywhere, does anyone know? Apparently they are by invitation only due to the attendance limitations of Zoom. They are supposed to be posted later for those who could not attend.funkyfreddy wrote:How does one sign up for these? Could anyone provide a link?
