Don't Do This At Home
I have a MIDI sequence recorded by someone at Concordia U in the 80s of all 555 Scarlatti Harpsichord Sonatas. The pieces are all in one sequence with notes allocated randomly to 13 tracks and channels. I was fooling around with it today, and wanted to see if there was an obvious place to separate the left and right hands to add some panning. The MIDI editors didn't help, so without thinking, I clicked on Quickscribe. Brought DP and the Mini to their knees.

Are these the John Sankey recordings? Oddly enough, I did just that using DP oh, I guess 5? Didn't turn out too bad. Now I want to try it again, glutton for punishment that I am.

I just tried it with the original MIDI file. No problem. I'm not sure how I originally did it but I think that I combined everything into one track and then opened QS. Here's the link to the original:

Thanks. I'll try it it combined into one track with the files I have. I don't think they're the same you used.
