Long load when launching 10

It appears DSP10 relooks at many VST upon launch. It takes about 3 minute fo DP to actually get to the start page? Any suggestions?

What is the timeline between launches of DP? Is it 'Gathering Information' or actually reexamining the plugs? This shouldn't persist beyond the first couple of launches unless you update the plugs or change the plugin preferences. Are you saying that, for instance, if you start DP then immediately quit and then restart DP again it reexamines the plugs. If so, I'd check with MOTU support to see if any know problems or solutions. If this was a common problem, you'd see a bunch of complaints.

Oh hell yes!

DP 10 takes a lot longer to load on my iMac Pro. I've timed it at 47 seconds; the project takes another 3–12 seconds depending on complexity.

I know but it really does feel like forever compared to DP 9.52 (28 seconds) or Logic (13!)… but really, I can wait the 47 seconds.
