Very sad to lose him; especially as it seems likely it was a suicide.

He revived interest in overlooked bands like Love and The Monkees, amongst others.

A punk rock enthusiast at heart, he waited eight years to release his punk anthology, as it took that long to secure the rights to Sex Pistols' "God Save the Queen".

It was a very nice tribute. So many great and wonderful artists on Rhino. Thanks for sharing that article. It was heart-warming to read his story, but very sad about his passing.

Thanks for updating the link; when I catch a story early, often the original link breaks later when the story gets updated.

And yes, I was wondering why he was listed as 62 in some places and 65 in others. That was apparently the only thing updated (as seen in the final comment at the new link), as the rest of the article reads the same to me as what I read before initially posting.

My condolences to his family.
