Hi
First post here, I'm quite new to Motu and pro audio.
I've been using MiniDSP for active crossover and now boarded the pro-audio bandwagon
I bought a 1248 and it doesn't work the way I intend.
I can get music coming out thru window (using Motu Pro Audio) but the loop-back feature I attempt to do ain't working. I need such for having a PC based crossover do the work (EIKO)

thru simple youtube as a sound source, here is a screenshot of my issue.
I get sound out to the motu but the return doesn't record anything despite the 1248 showing that signal is being sent...
On the "motu 1-24" in playback or recording, it never work. Only "motu pro audio" work and it only work to send signal out.

I've tried asio mode too but same problem arise.
I get sound sent to the motu (seen thru the 1248 bar graph) but the loopback doesn't work and EIKO software doesn't see any signal at it's input.
I try to do the same as described here

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1248 setup question (loopback)
I would love help on this as well. I can't believe that even now, in the age of COVID, MOTU hasn't posted a tutorial on this...

Re: 1248 setup question (loopback)
Need to look at the Routing Matrix. Just about anything is possible... I'd call MOTU if you need specific assistance.
Re: 1248 setup question (loopback)
Wondering if you ever figured this out? I have the same problem with a 1248. The analog outs seem to be outputting a level about 30db lower than their send from an input or source. Interestingly the metering is accurate on the front panel, but the actual level is way below where it should be.
Thanks
