I visited the AES convention for a day last week, and was sorry that I couldn't find any MOTU presence . There were a lot of other missing companies as well...the show floor was biased towards the esoteric, and away from the mid-level gear. While trade shows (especially at the Javits Center) are really expensive to put up a major booth, it was nice a few years ago when Sweetwater had a booth and Magic Dave was at a station there.
One other observation: there was a lot of Dante networking, I didn't hear a word about AVB at the exhibits...
Maybe I missed something? There was a huge Sweetwater banner in the hall, but Avid was the only DAW manufacturer with a presence, it seemed.

Re: MOTU not at AES
Here in Europe the AES show bring less and less stands every year.
Music is movement in silence
