Anyone else NOT receive their BMI payment today?
BMI has always, without fail sent me a statement and deposited my quarterly residuals in the wee hours of the distribution day, but not today. I see the new statements in my BMI account, but didn't get a payment. Has anyone received theirs?

My publisher pyt came in but not my writer pyt. Called BMI in Nashville and LA to no avail. The woman in NY (nice lady - been there for decades) said they knew and would fix it today. My writer payment arrived about 3pm pst.

Weird. They've always been prompt and predictable. I guess there's a glitch somewhere. I suppose I'll call Monday. Thanks for responding.

You should have the payment by now. The NY and Nashville offices were in a bit of a tailspin today. NY... well, NYers.. NOTHING phases them. They just copped to the problem and fixed it.

Oh, hey. I did. Payment received. Just no notice from BMI....at least they got the important part right!

Well, that's debatable. I just had this discussion with FrankMax in rehearsal yesterday. Cue/payment errors are common place, as are people screwing up their cue sheets (the biggest cause of the errors). Probably why BMI doesn't want cue sheets from composers; only the main production company.dix wrote:....at least they got the important part right!
