16GB extra memory-no improvement at all (DP7)

Hello,
I have a very old mac pro (EARLY 2006-Mac Pro1.1 ) that had 13 GB of memory. Today I installed 16 more (i removed the 512 MB slots) and I have now total 28GB memory
The reason I did this is that in DP7 some times a lot of samples playing at the same time would make the project stutter (clicking?). I also use Plogue Bidule in rewire mode and also 3 instances of KONTAKT 4. I am aware that Kontankt 4 gives me the most issues with memory overloading ( for example if I try to enable the superior drummer library in the instruments track the project crashes when all 3 instances of KONTAKT 4 are enabled but it doesn't crash when they are disabled)
I am also aware about some possible solutions that help reduce the clicking and the stuttering (and that I have already done) such as the increase of the buffer size when playing back (I have it at 1024) or the spreading of the sample libraries in different disks or even the use of many instances of the same library rather than one instance with all the samples loaded in it.
The problem is that after I installed the 16 extra GB not only the problem remains (for example the Audio monitor in DP still reaches red as it did before) but it also purged some of the KONTAKT 4 samples because of insufficient memory when I opened my DP project.
BTW, the memory is good and running and it is purchased from Ramjet which I trust. Some of my old memory slots were also from Ramjet with no issues.
Please help. I am so sad to have spent $129 for 16 extra GB of memory and still experience the same or even worse issues. If there is no cure I will return the memory back and probably live with the 13GB of memory and buy a new mac pro in the future...
But any ideas if there is a way to fix the problem? Can I force DP to use more memory rather than CPU? Am I even making sense here?
Thank you for your time
