Dear all,
I've been thinking about taking the plunge for DP9 for a while now - the only plug-in keeping me running DP8 in 32-bit is MX4, which I use constantly, while my poor old 2010 MacBook keeps straining.
However, I'm half-way through a bunch of projects; does anyone know if I upgrade to DP9, will the old MX4 instruments I've added to projects work with the MX4 included in in DP9?
The most logical solution would just be to download the demo, I know. However, I already used my 30 days in 2016 and didn't think to test this out!
Thanks to anyone for reading!

Re: 32-bit MX4 projects in DP9
Yes, old projects with the 32 bit version of MX4 will open in DP9 with its included MX4.
I had reason today to start up the old Mac Pro 1,1 which has the 32 bit MX4 that I purchased when upgrading to DP 8.
To make it interesting, I started up DP 7.24, loaded a few instances of MX4, and then created MIDI phrases for them. The project was saved and transferred to my MPB running macOS 10.13.4 and DP9.51. No problems!
Issues of updating of updating from DP8 to DP9 on the same system are outlined here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=60403#p533466
