Selections in MIDI Editor and Tracks Window

Hi all,
Just made the move from DP 9.01 to 9.51.
All good except that when selecting data in the MIDI Editor window on a single track the same selection is made in all MIDI tracks within Track Folders in the Tracks Window. It used to be that selections made in the MIDI Editor on a single track were ONLY on that single track. The only work arounds seem to be:
1) hide all tracks in the Track Window except for the one being edited
or
2) do away with the track folders
Neither is great and significantly slow down my work flow. Is there a way to turn off this new "feature" of unintended selections being made across Track Folders?
