828es Reverb Settings

Hi everyone,
I have the new 828es unit and I bought it mainly to use as mixer while jamming at home and recording stuff here and there. So having it's own DSP was a big feature for me and the on board Classic Reverb as to not use any external effects.
However, the reverb to me sounds very generic and vague...anyone here has some useful settings or tips how to use it properly maybe? It's all standard reverb settings there but no matter what I try it sounds like a horror cave or a metal can.
Is this reverb really suppose to be this weak or am I missing something here?
