Can’t automate Izotope plugins on DP master buss.

Title says it all. I cant get automation to
record for ANY Izotope product on a
Master Fader. All other vendors plugs
will record and playback automation,
but not Izotope.

Anyone else experience this, or know of a
solution? I’m on the latest version of DP.

on a Master Fader, Ozone 7 and Rx4 Denoiser record and playback automation data, audio did not change smoothly. 10.12.6 and 9.5.1.

What do you mean?

Automation is recorded - the controls move as expected.

The resulting sound is not useful for real-time changes.

One could likely use Izotope automation like presets but not for gradually rolling off an EQ setting.

Maybe a system with a faster processor would not have the issue I noticed?

Well, thanks. But that is not my issue.
I simply cannot record any automation for
an Izotope plugin inserted on my Master
Fader. None, zero, zip..I can record enable
the automation, do all my moves and
changes...nothing is recorded into the automation
lane.

On the same Master fader, placing a Waves
plugin on it, I can record loads of automation
and it gets recorded and will play back.

David, although the problems I've seen are not identical to yours, I can confirm that there are various problems with recording automation on my system with some iZotope plugins. I haven't looked into it as I just work around it if I experience a problem. I suspect the problem is with iZotope and not MOTU (because I don't see the problem with other plugins), but you know how that usually goes. Have you contacted either company?
